WHY GRANITE, MARBLE OR ANY NATURAL STONE?
Natural stones are becoming a big and competitive business. Flip through your local pages or perform a quick internet search and you'll find hundreds of contractors clamoring for your business. Natural stones are extremely popular and the reasons are no secret. They are like works of art that transform our homes into truly magnificent masterpieces. We value them so great because of the natural magic they provide.
WHY US?
Granite, for example, is a material that provides luminance and surface depth. Describing the finished affect is indescribable at time. I like to think that what makes our company different is that, as mentioned before; we are family owned and operated company. The owner of the company is the one and only person to go out and provide you with a consultation about your interest and is the one to provide you with your quote. There is no employee out there that later has to check in with a manager or a president. In addition, it is our owner himself that fabricates and installs your material. We are a company that has proven through years of experience to be honorable and reliable. Our goal is to satisfy our clients at competitive rate.
HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT MATERIAL?
Once you've made the decision to install a natural stone, it's time to consider the diversity on the market. This is certainly not a decision you want to make alone. Regardless of using our company or another, ALWAYS have the company you hire go out and pick the slabs with you. The reason behind this simple, granite for example, as a natural stone and there are things about the stone you may not be aware of. All stones sometimes come with natural pits and fissures that are part of the stone's natural structure. Some types have more of these characteristics than other. So making sure you have a professional there to point these out to you is highly recommended, This can have a big affect on the fabrication and installation of the stone. Other important factors include the room's color scheme and the design of fixtures and other accessories. The great thing about most stones is that since it is a natural stone, there is near limitless patterns and color mixtures to work with.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS?
A rough estimate is approximately 2 weeks, but is some cases it may take longer. This will depend on things such as weather, the material, fabrication, layout and/or size of the project.
JUST SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Popularity of natural stones is not just about aesthetics though, both solid and tile stones offer a homeowner durability. Granite, for example, is scratch proof, stain proof, and heat-resistant. You can use it as a cutting board or to rest blistering hot pans without concern. Our granite is a stone that we install to include a special sealant that coats the stone and guarantees that no liquids and acidic substances can be absorbed through the stone and undermine it, making your purchase one that will last a lifetime.
That brings us to the concept of natural stones installed as an investment, which is a concept that we cannot over look. I have noticed that many people seem to consider natural stone to be a luxury. This is something that I would like to strongly disagree with. There are stone out there that, yes, can be very expensive, but not all. This is something that should be factored into your decisions. I believe that having a stone installed in your home will not just bring you to place of peace and relaxation, but will increase the value of your home. We remodel our homes to make them more beautiful, but we also do it because it makes our homes more valuable.
In the end, you can recuperate those expenses in the appreciation and upgrade of your home. In terms of that home appreciation, some decisions carry more weight than others. For instance, carpets and paint change easily so have very little effect on the long-term worth of the home. Natural stones, on the other hand, are far more permanent and they often add value to the home that is well beyond the actual costs of the materials and the installation.
